Lots of maintenance work taking place in the Dickens Field over the last couple of days. We have been laying some weed suppressing membrane and mulch to give the tree saplings the best chance of survival in this hot weather.

Our Parish Council Chairman Frankie Gilkes has been shortlisted as one of the finalists for this year's Nalc (National Association of Local Councils) Star Council Awards.
He was nominated as 'Young Councillor of the year' and will find out in October where he comes in the competition.

Please be mindful whilst walking Public Rights of Way across the Parish.

Rothersthorpe parish Council are reminding all residents who have not yet subscribed to the WNC Garden Waste Subscription, there is still time to do so.
WNC Refuse Collection Teams will not take bins that do not have a valid subscription sticker.
If you no longer wish to receive a brown bin collection, WNC will shortly be arranging a collection of unused and 'empty' bins.

We have received multiple reports across South Northamptonshire of a male stopping vehicles and pedestrians and either asking for money or asking to be driven to a petrol station. They have been using various excuses and on occasions have had another person in the vehicle with them.
