Gayton Bridge Repairs

Gayton Bridge Repairs

As many of you may be aware the Gayton Road Bridge on the way to Bugbrooke has been falling into a state of disrepair for sometime with it finally being closed in September 2024 causing increased traffic flow through the surrounding villages.

Temporary repairs and traffic management measures have so far amounted to over £200,000 and still no permanent repairs have been carried out.

Women's Safety Event

Women's Safety Event

Silverstone Parish Council are working with Northamptonshire Police to host a Women's Safety Event at Silverstone Recreation Assosication (SRA) on Thursday 18th September 7pm-9pm.

The Parish Council are looking for a couple of volunteers to maintain 2 sets of planters on the entrances to the village (North Street and Kislingbury Road).
