Easter Decorations Clay Workshop

Create your own easter decorations from clay. In this workshop you will learn how to make a set of decorations from white earthenware.
Using cutters, stamps and foliage you will have the opportunity to add textures and patterns to your decorations. This workshop is suitable for beginners and you will be guided at a slow pace throughout the session.
The class will run from 10.30am to midday at my home studio on Banbury Lane, Rothersthorpe (full details of address will be provided on booking).
It includes all the materials you will need, plus tea or coffee and cake.
Your decorations will be ready to collect the following week. You can leave them as they are or decorate with acrylic paints. Alternatively, you can book in to paint and decorate your creations at the studio which will then be glazed and fired, at an additional cost of £10.00.

Queen's Platinum Jubilee Planning Meeting

Looking at the results of the survey we have had a few suggestions for some activities for the celebration weekend and hopefully they should enable us to target all age groups. As the date is creeping up on us I am planning an informal meeting so that we can meet each other, agree on schedule of events and start planning. This will take place 2nd of April at 3pm. My neighbour has very kindly agreed to host this at their house which is 10 Kislingbury Road (if it's nice we can sit in the garden)I appreciate that the proposed date for the meeting may not suite everyone so we could probably include you in a Zoom meeting if preferred or if needed I can try and arrange a separate meeting to update you. From just having a quick scan through people's comments and looking on the facebook pages of other villages I have put together the below draft activities to give us a starting point. Walk from the village/treasure hunt/scavenger hunt- lead by Alison Snelling, Unveiling of the new Oak tree in the Dickens Field, Afternoon Tea, Church Service, Fun games afternoon on the school field- possible fancy dress competition for the children, BBQ in the evening and Wellington Pop up Social Club- possibly have live music. If you didn't respond to the survey but think you could help in anyway during the weekend then we'd love to see you at the meeting or drop me a call or a message on 07875478976. FORS Quiz at Rothersthorpe Wellington Social Club

FORS Family quiz night!
Come and join FORS at the Wellington Social Club to fundraise for school equipment at this family quiz night. Teams of up to 6 people. Entry £10 a team. Registration from 7pm, quiz starts at 7.30pm. Prize for the winning team. All teams are welcome but teams with children are recommended if you are in it to win it!
The Pop-Up-Pub is intended to work just like a real pub, where members will be able to pop in for as long as they like, when they like.
Beer, lager and cider are going to be supplied from Carlsberg Northampton who will be supporting us. Wine, prosecco and short drinks will also be available. Soft drinks for children can be purchased and orange squash will be free.
We have named our pub after the Wellington Bomber plane that the crew of RAF LN48211OTU crashed just outside the village on 5th April 1944 saving lives in the village and our school. We look forward to welcoming you back!
